🌎 Gulf Visa Renewal — Key Facts for Keralites

UAE Residence Visa: Valid for 1, 2 or 3 years. Emirates ID must match visa validity. Start renewal 30 days before expiry.
UAE Grace Period: Up to 6 months grace after visa cancellation before AED 50/day fines begin.
UAE 180-Day Outside Rule: Stay outside UAE more than 180 consecutive days and your residence visa is automatically nullified.
Saudi Iqama: Renew 3 days before expiry. Employer initiates. Check via Absher.sa app.
Qatar RP: Tied to employment. Check via Metrash2. Exit permit abolished 2020.
Overstay Fines: UAE: AED 50/day. Qatar Visit Visa: QAR 200/day. Qatar RP: QAR 10/day (max QAR 12,000).
Passport Validity: Indian passport must have 6+ months validity for Gulf residence renewal.
Family Visa: If the sponsor's Iqama lapses, all dependent visas become invalid automatically.
India Visit During Renewal: If in India when Iqama expires, you may need an Emergency Return Certificate from the Indian Embassy.
